Community Outreach
How We Serve
In order to share the love of Jesus through serving, the members of Saint Timothy participate in several activities throughout the year to benefit the community around us. These are some of the ways we have helped:
Edmonds & Lynnwood Food Banks
We collect needed items on an ongoing basis and donate them to the food banks of our communities, to Edmonds one month and Lynnwood the next, alternating throughout the year.
Clothes for Kids
This is a local non-profit organization that provides clothes for children in need.
Beverly Elementary School
Before the new school year begins we collect school supplies the children will need and deliver them to this nearby school.
Lutheran Community Services Northwest
Our ladies donated items suggested by this non-profit organization that they then distributed to refugees in the greater Seattle area.
Christmas Stockings
In December we give monetary donations to a local non-profit organization.
Easter Egg Hunt
On the Saturday before Easter, we invite children of the community to come enjoy hunting for hundreds of eggs hidden on our campus and we share with them the story of the Resurrection that Easter celebrates.
